Succession planning is a way to identify and develop a new workfroce to replace those who may be retiring or leaving. Succession planning widens the availability of experienced employees that are ready to assume roles as they become available. 

Training needs alaysis (TNA) is used to identify the gap in employee training and other related training needs.
