Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub

The Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub (C&MTH) is a local partnership supporting the development and transformation of the primary and community care workforce through education and training across Cheshire and Merseyside footprint. Our aim is to help attract, recruit and retain staff to ensure that our workforce is fit for the future and so that our patients will benefit from high quality care and services.

Whether you’re already working across the region and you’re looking for local training and education opportunities or if you’re thinking about joining our local workforce, then we hope our pages will help you to find out more about what a great place this is to work.

The Cheshire and Merseyside Training Hubs are part of a wider training hub group. The North-West Training Hub foster collaborative working and learning across regions and disciplines. They support workforce planning and development, provide education programme coordination, and ensure quality of education, aiming to achieve a workforce excellently equipped to meet the present and future needs of our populations. At present the three regional Hubs; Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Mersey side and Lancashire and South Cumbria; focus on projects of both national and local educational and workforce priorities, namely: workforce placements return to practice, apprenticeships, preceptorships, fellowships and others.
